The summer heat has arrived, and so has San José’s largest water park
What better way to beat the heat than to cool off in a refreshing wave pool? Grab your goggles and get ready to make a splash in the summer sun at CaliBunga San José!
San José’s most popular water park has reopened under new management with California Dreamin’ Entertainment featuring new and exciting improvements including new turf, furniture, shade structures, cabanas, food and more on the way!
As Northern California’s largest waterpark, it is a special place for families, San José residents, and visitors alike. Now, the community can come together and create even more memories at this special site!
Located next to Lake Cunningham Regional Park’s marina, CaliBunga is here to stay, bringing fun activities for everyone in the family to enjoy.
CaliBunga attracts plenty of residents on a hot day.
“I love this place, I can’t wait to play in Pirate’s Cove with my little brother” said Jordan, a young San José resident.
It’s not only kids who are excited to enjoy CaliBunga, parents are thrilled to dive into the fun too!
“It’s a fun activity for the kids and adults too,” said Sarah, a mom with her children. “We are really happy they are open because we are season pass holders and we are looking forward to spending more time here as a family.”

"It’s a fun experience that you can share with your family. You can take a day off to destress, relax, and have fun with your family” says Olivia, CaliBunga Retail Supervisor. “There is something for everybody here to enjoy!"

“It’s cool to be a part of an attraction that means so much to everyone in the community. Everyday, I walk through, and somebody thanks me for opening the park,” says Mel Sells, CaliBunga’s General Manager. “This park means a lot to the community and our goal is to make sure we are providing what the community wants.”
To satisfy the community, Sells said that the CaliBunga team values guest feedback. They read emails, comments, and reviews to ensure they are providing the best experience and they are always looking for ways to improve the park.
Above all, the CaliBunga team is excited to invite people back into the park and create a space where everyone can enjoy themselves.
"Having everyone come through the gate all excited, that's the best part of this business,” said Steve Dooner, California Dreamin’ CEO.
The water park is a popular destination in San José, where people come together to have fun and beat the heat. CaliBunga is sure to create unforgettable memories one splash at a time!
