The community is invited to learn how AI technology can help make San José roads safer and cleaner.

The Road Safety Conditions Pilot will explore the capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI) to detect obstructions in and around bike lanes and sidewalks using devices installed on City vehicles. By reducing obstructions on roadways, bike lanes, and sidewalks — such as potholes, leaf piles, or abandoned vehicles — the City aims to improve pedestrian safety and bike lanes in San José and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of bus transit.

Se invita a la comunidad a conocer cómo la tecnología de inteligencia artificial (IA) puede ayudar a hacer que las calles de San José sean más seguras y limpias.

El programa piloto de condiciones de seguridad vial explorará las capacidades de la inteligencia artificial (IA) para detectar obstáculos en y alrededor de los carriles para bicicletas y las aceras mediante dispositivos instalados en vehículos de la ciudad.
