Project Description
The project consists of a Site Development Permit to allow the construction of a 15-story building with up to 220 affordable residential units, 3,760 square feet of ground floor commercial space, and 5 levels of above grade parking. The commercial building facades for 455 South First Street/460 South Market Street and 465-467 South First Street/470-480 South Market Street would be incorporated into the proposed building while the remainder of the existing buildings would be removed. A permanent interactive historical display would be provided as a part of the retained 465-467 South First Street commercial building façades.
Location
455 to 493 South First Street in the Central/Downtown Planning Area of San José, and bounded by commercial development on the north, South First Street on the east, William Street on the south, and Market Street on the west.

This Addendum has been prepared as part of the supplemental environmental review process needed to evaluate the proposed project.
