What: The City of San José announces the list of participating venues and musicians for Make Music San José, an annual day of free music.
When: Saturday, June 21, 2025
11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: More than 86 artists and 112 performances will take place in 37 participating venues throughout San José.

Background: Make Music Day celebrates music in all its forms and encourages professionals and amateur musicians to come together and play in free public concerts.

Held annually on June 21 to coincide with the summer solstice, Make Music Day is part of the international Fête de la Musique taking place in more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries. The City of San José’s Office of Economic Development and Cultural Affairs (OEDCA) has led the local edition, Make Music San José, since 2017.
