The City of San José Family Camp at Yosemite and its nonprofit partner, Friends of San José Family Camp, invite the community to the Wilderness Within Reach Fundraiser.

This family-friendly event brings the traditions of Family Camp into the heart of the city with dinner, camp crafts, games, live entertainment, a cozy campfire, and a lively auction.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will support volunteer-led projects at Family Camp and fund scholarships so San José residents can experience the joy of camp.

Nestled along the Tuolumne River just outside Yosemite National Park, Family Camp is an all-inclusive summer destination offering a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, swimming, and nightly campfire programs. The camp features 65 wood-framed canvas tents, some with electricity and ADA-accessible options equipped with cots and mattresses for a comfortable stay.
- Summer 2026 Season: June 19 – Aug. 16
- Resident Reservations Open: Second Saturday in January at 10 a.m.
- Non-Resident Reservations Open: Second Saturday in February at 10 a.m.
