What:
 Capitol Subaru has selected the San José Animal Care Center as its partner for this year’s Subaru Loves Pets program. Capitol Subaru will host an adoption event for San José Animal Care Center shelter dogs in their showroom. The first 10 adopters will receive an adoption kit from Subaru that includes a tote bag, a dashboard squeaker, a leash, a snuffle mat, and more.

1 to 3 p.m.

Background: Every October, Subaru retailers partner with local animal welfare organizations to host pet events at their stores and provide grants administered by The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). This year, the San José Animal Care Center is the recipient of the $6,000 Subaru Loves Pets Grant, which supports improving the lives of shelter animals. The Center will also participate in the special adoption event at Capitol Subaru. Several adoptable shelter dogs will be showcased at the dealership to help raise awareness of the many shelter dogs in need of forever homes.
