Prepare your property and prevent weather-related damage. A few simple maintenance steps can go a long way toward keeping your home or building in good condition and ready for winter rains all season long. 

Here’s how to get started: 

• Seal any cracks on stair and balcony surfaces.   

• Clear the roof of debris and check that shingles or tiles are in good condition.   

• Paint exposed wood on siding, trim and fascia boards. This is important to prevent wood rot.     

• Fix cracks in the pavement— they’ll only get bigger over time, so fixing them while they’re smaller and manageable will save you money in the long run.   

• With darkness setting in sooner, check that exterior lights are working. New lighting must meet requirements through Electrical and Planning permits and inspection.

Siga estos pasos para prepararse para las lluvias invernales y mantener sus edificios en buen estado.
