The City of San José has prepared an Addendum to the Berryessa Mixed-Use Development Project Final EIR (SCH#2021070467).
Project Description
The Modified Project would construct an approximately 107,910 square foot townhouse development (or 62 residential units) in place of the approved 480,000 square foot commercial space on Block I (approved as part of PDC18-036). The remainder of the Project approvd under PDC18-036 and amended by PDC25-01 would remain the same. The Modified Project would result in a total of 912 residential units, consisting of 615 market-rate multifamily units, 189 affordable multifamily units, 85 townhouse units (including the 62 new units), and 24 single-family units. No commercial uses are proposed.
Location
The project site is within the Berryessa BART Urban Village (BBUV) Plan area and is located at 1655 Berryessa Road, on the north side of Berryessa Road, immediately west of the BART/UPRR tracks.
