 What: The City of San José announces the list of participating venues and musicians for Make Music San José, an annual day of free music.
 When: Sunday, June 21, 2026

11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
 Where: Approximately 140 artists will perform in 40 participating venues throughout San José.

 Background: Make Music Day celebrates music in all its forms, encouraging professional and amateur musicians to come together and play in free public concerts.

Held annually on June 21 to coincide with the summer solstice, Make Music Day is part of the international Fête de la Musique taking place in more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries. Since 2017, the City of San José’s Office of Economic Development and Cultural Affairs has led the local edition, Make Music San José.
