PARKS & Trails

Do Your Duty to Keep San José Parks Open by Maintaining Physical Distancing

The City of San José recognizes the wellness benefits that the use of parks bring. Let’s all do our duty to ensure parks remain available to use for everyone. To slow and reduce the spread of COVID-19, residents MUST follow Santa Clara County’s physical distancing orders. Failure to follow these public health and safety guidelines will result in City parks being closed indefinitely:

  1. Stay home if you are sick.
  2. Do not gather in groups or engage in group activities.
  3. Keep a six-foot distance from others at all times.
  4. Comply with listed amenity closures and stay out of restricted areas.

The health and safety of our employees, residents, businesses, and visitors remains the highest priority for the City of San José. Learn more about how you can keep our parks open.

To report a concern at a San José Park:

  • For life threatening emergencies, call 9-1-1
  • For non-emergency requests for service or to report a problem, visit San José 3-1-1
  • For questions about park maintenance work, please email park.concerns@sanjoseca.gov
