SJePlans - A portal for electronic plan review
Upload your plans. Respond to City plan reviewer comments. Know the status of your project.
SJePlans is the platform where you will upload qualifying project plans for review by the City's Development Services staff, including staff in Building, Planning, Public Works, and Fire.
Access SJePlans at: https://eplan.sanjoseca.gov/Projectdox.
Benefits. SJePlans integrates with the City's online permitting system and provides one convenient place to:
- Electronically upload project plans
- View and respond to the City plan reviewer's comments
- Know the status of your project at all times
- Obtain permit issuance
CITY STAFF will CREATE YOUR SJEPLANS ACCOUNT
When you make an appointment to submit a permit application that involves plan review, if appropriate to your project, City staff will create your account in SJePlans, and you will receive an email with your login information.

FILE NAMING CONVENTIONS
Before you upload plans/documents to SJePlans, you must save them as PDFs and name them according to these conventions:
