Plan Review Time Frames

The number of approximate days for staff to complete the review of project plans is shown in the table below.

For review of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing plans - The time frames in the table pertain only to projects submitted through the Standard Plan Review Service. It does not reflect time frames for projects using other building permit services. For example, Over-the-Counter service issues permits during the applicant's visit to the Permit Center.

For review of fire protection and hazmat systems - The time frames in the table reflect the typical time required by the Fire Protection Division staff, regardless of the submittal service used.
