Food assistance and other benefits are available to low income individuals and families. To apply online, visit CalFresh call the CalFresh helpline at 1-877-847-3663. CalWIN can help you with food assistance and other benefits such as cash aid or medical services. Apply online, or call the County of Santa Clara Social Services Agency at 1-877-962-3633.

Second Harvest Food Bank gives free fresh fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples to individuals and families in need. Call 1-800-984-3663 (M-F 8 am to 5 pm), or Text “GETFOOD” to 408-455-5181, or visit Second Harvest Food Bank.

Interactive Map and Lookup: Use the Food Lookup or Food Distribution Resource map to find pickup locations near your home. Please call locations ahead of time to confirm if their services are still available. This map shows food resources for all ages.

I am a senior, and have difficulty getting food due to COVID-19

Meal Delivery for Seniors: Meals on Wheels delivers prepared meals to home bound adults 60 years and older. If you need meals delivered, please call 408-350-3200 and select option 4 or fill out a referral form online.

If you are 60 years and older, you can pick up prepared meals near you. To pick up meals, contact the City of San Jose through email, call 2-1-1, or text your zip code to 89821.
