What IS A City Clerk?

The City Clerk supports local government and helps the public stay informed. The office manages elections, provides access to city records, and official actions.

The City Clerk also makes sure the city follows the California Political Reform Act, Brown Act, and the Public Records Act.

In addition, the City Clerk responds to public questions, works with the community and Council offices.
