Congratulations on bringing home your new pet

Welcoming a new pet into your home is an exciting time filled with hope for a happy future together. We are so glad that a pet we’ve cared for is now settling into their forever home with you.

We hope you have had a chance to review your Adoption Packet, which includes helpful information and coupons for local services to support your new companion.

While you are now your pet’s biggest champion, we understand that there may be times when extra support is needed. We’re here to help every step of the way.

Low-Cost Medical Services

Your adopted pet came with its first round of vaccines and has been spayed or neutered before adoption. However, you might find that your pet needs more veterinary care as your pet grows older.

In your Adoption Packet you'll see a coupon from VCA for a first free exam, we hope you take advantage of that. Should you need more medical help, or as your pet ages, find our growing list of resources for any type of low-cost medical services here

Finding a Lost Pet

Your adopted pet also came with a microchip that you should register in your name immediately. If the worst-case scenario takes place and you lose your pet, you can rely on the microchip to help us locate you if you pet winds up back in our shelter. If not, find resources here on how to find your lost pet

Tell us about your Pet

We love, love, love hearing about the pets previously in our care. Our staff and volunteers may have been your pet's former caretakers and we always want to hear how the pet is doing.

Please fill out the quick form below and share some pics with us. Let us know if your pet has been renamed and what your pets name was while in our care.

We can't wait to hear from you.
