Celebrating the power of creative expression, the Office of Cultural Affairs produces a series of interactive programs for San Jose residents and supports opportunities for increased creativity citywide. 

PROGRAMS - #408CREATES  

Check-out some the programs that our office offers: 

• Make Music San Jose: A citywide celebration of music on June 21, open to all.

• CityDance San Jose: A free outdoor series of dance lessons and live music in Downtown San Jose from June to September.

• WeCreate408: A month-long creativity challenge designed to inspire you and celebrate San Jose. 

In addition, through the Creative Ambassador program, we partner with local artists to champion the power of creative expression and engage the public in creative projects.

Our work is informed by the national Creating Connection research on the benefits of creativity in everyday life.
