Welcome to the Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) Special Events Hub! The City of San Jose has established a special event permit procedure to coordinate approvals and logistics for holding any events on outdoor public properties including streets, plazas, paseos, and downtown parks.
Please review our special event guidelines for a deeper look into the various requirements for your outdoor event. Once you are ready, download the application and submit it back to OCAapplications@sanjoseca.gov
*Please note, any events held on public parks outside of downtown are coordinated through the Special Park Use Unit.
