Construction & Demolition Diversion (CDD) Program

The Construction and Demolition Diversion (CDD) Program was implemented in 2001 as an incentive program to encourage San Jose's residents to recycle, reuse and salvage the construction debris and to deter disposing the Construction and Demolition (C&D) materials directly in the landfills.

The CDD Program encompasses Building Permit Holders, Authorized C&D Haulers, and City Certified C&D Facilities.
