  • Call the City’s Customer Contact Center at (408) 535-3500 to establish a payment plan to help make payments more manageable.
  • Establish low income or vulnerable status with the City, which can qualify you to receive additional support on your water account. To establish low income and/or vulnerable customer status, please use one of the following forms:

Need help paying your past due water bill?

  • NEW: Financial Assistance Program: Launched in May 2026, the Water Customer Financial Assistance Program is a year-long pilot that provides a one-time credit of up to $500 to help eligible Muni Water customers whose water service has been disconnected due to financial hardship. To be eligible, you must qualify for low-income or vulnerable status. Use this form to apply online or apply in person at City Hall.
  • Utility payment assistance programs may be available through Sacred Heart Community Services to qualified applicants. Customers can view their website, contact them via phone, email or visit their office for information and assistance.

LATE FEES

  • A late fee of $10.00 or 10%, whichever is greater, is applied when the payment is received after the due date on the bill statement.
  • Visit the Pay My Utility Bill webpage for information on how to pay your Municipal Water System Bill.
