Make Water Efficiency a Way of Life

NEW RULE: No watering of ornamental lawns or turf.
The State of California has banned the use of potable water to irrigate non-functional, ornamental lawns or turf at commercial, industrial, and institutional (CII) sites.

San José enacts limits on outdoor irrigation for residents and businesses to preserve potable water supplies amid drought emergency.

• San José Municipal Water System, owned and operated by the City of San José
• San Jose Water Company, privately owned and regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission
• Great Oaks Water Company, privately owned and regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission
