The State of California has banned the use of potable water to irrigate non-functional, ornamental lawns or turf at commercial, industrial, and institutional (CII) sites.

San José enacts limits on outdoor irrigation for residents and businesses to preserve potable water supplies amid drought emergency.

Well done! San José Municipal Water System Residents saved 157 million gallons of water in 2023 when compared to 2022. Keep up the great work.
