Express plan review appointments for small sprinkler, suppression, and alarm projects for fire protection systems.

To better serve customers with projects that qualify for fire express review, you can schedule appointments for fire sprinkler and suppression or fire alarm and detection systems plan review on specific calendar days:

Fire sprinkler and suppression systems appointments:

• Available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
• 90 minutes in duration

Project Maximum Size Criteria

• This service is for tenant improvement projects that involve the addition of less than 20 sprinklers without requiring hydraulic calculations
• Relocation of less than 100 sprinklers without requiring hydraulic calculations
• Simple Fixed Extinguishing Systems (Hood & Duct) involving 3 or less hoods,
• Simple Underground Fire Service Systems involving 5 or less appurtenances without requiring hydraulic calculations
• Larger or more involved projects (including new construction), DO NOT QUALIFY for Fire Express Review.

Fire alarm systems appointments:

• Only available on Wednesdays at 8 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. 
• 90 minutes in duration

Project Maximum Size Criteria

• This service is for tenant improvement projects that involve the addition or relocation of a maximum of 12 devices and /or appliances (cumulative)
• Installation of a new communicator panel is allowed for Fire Alarm Express Review.
• Main panel replacements and suppression panel installations DO NOT QUALIFY for express review
• Larger or more involved projects (including new construction), DO NOT QUALIFY for Fire Express Review.
