Charlotte and Kevin were homeless before enrolling in the City of San Jose’s Rue Ferrari interim housing community.

After spending a few months at Rue Ferrari, the couple exchanged their vows and celebrated both their relationship and their journey from the streets to safe, dignified shelter.

They were eventually able to qualify for a housing subsidy through the Rapid Rehousing System. With the support of their case manager, they found permanent housing and moved into their own apartment.

As participants in the Rapid Rehousing System, they will receive up to two years of rental subsidies and supportive services. Congratulations Charlotte and Kevin!
