Open Enrollment

What is open enrollment?

Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to:

  • Modify your benefit choices and ensure you're enrolled in the correct plans.
  • Verify you have the intended eligible dependents covered and/or add new dependents.
  • Continue participating in the Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Account, and/or the Wellness Rewards program. You will not be auto-enrolled in these and must re-enroll.

For most benefits, you will not be able to change election outside of Open Enrollment unless you experience a qualifying life event.

COMPLETING YOUR ENROLLMENT

Updates and changes to your benefits will need to be made in eWay. Simply click "Open Enrollment" under Announcements on the home page.

what happens if i do nothing?

If you do not log into eWay and make any changes to your benefits:

  • Your medical, dental and vision plans will stay the same.
  • All covered, eligible dependents will remain on your medical, dental, vision and EAP plans.
    • Reminder! Dependent children may remain on dental and vision coverage until age 24 without student verification, and on medical, DeltaCare HMO, and EAP coverage until age 26.
  • If currently enrolled, your Medical Reimbursement Account (MRA), Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP), or health savings account (HSA) contributions will stop at the end of the plan year.
  • If currently enrolled, your Wellness Rewards Program participation will stop.
