As Vice Mayor Foley concludes her final term on the City Council at the end of 2026, the future of Music in the Valley beyond 2026 has not yet been determined.

Music in the Valley has been a true passion project for Vice Mayor Foley and has been funded entirely through private sponsorships and donations—not taxpayer dollars. While she advocate for the continuation of a community celebration in District 9, any future event will ultimately depend on the priorities and fundraising efforts of the next District 9 Councilmember.

The 5th annual Music in the Valley festival, was presented by Vice Mayor Pam Foley and Good Samaritan Hospital on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm at Cambrian Park Plaza! This year marked an extra special milestone as we celebrated five incredible years of music, community, and family fun.

Over five years, this event grew into District 9’s premier community celebration, showcasing the talents of middle and high school students alongside local professional bands that brought an even richer experience to our community.

Music in the Valley offered all-day live music and family-friendly activities such as a rock-climbing wall, bounce houses, arts & crafts, face painting, photo booth, and food trucks. Popular returning attractions included local vendors, the beer & wine garden*, and a quiet sensory space.

Vice Mayor Pam Foley is a longtime supporter of the arts and was thrilled to bring five years of music talent and activities to families throughout San José to enjoy each Spring!
