How the City is Building More Housing
San José is a great place to build housing for people at every income level. To meet its goal, the City is making approvals faster and more predictable, clarifying fees, and finding new ways to help fund housing.
Dashboards are best viewed on a desktop computer. Note also that the City’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. Each quarter covers three months.
Additional information on the City’s progress towards state Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) housing production goals can be found on the Planning, Building, and Code Enforcement Housing Production Dashboard.
