- Applications open:
- Contracted Little Leagues, Tennis: Last Tuesday of October to the first Monday in November
- General user: First Tuesday of November to the second Monday of November

HOW TO RESERVE A SPORTS FIELD OR COURT
STEP 1: Select a field from our field matrix Sports Field Matrix & Court Matrix.
**List of sports fields and courts under repair.
STEP 2: Check online, call, or email field reservations for availability (408) 794-6527 or fieldreservations@sanjoseca.gov.
STEP 3: Prepare ALL required documents before submitting an application
- Participant Roster Form; AND
- Certificate of Liability Insurance
STEP 4: Submit your online application or download a Sports Field Application Form and hand deliver to Citywide Sports Office at 1300 Senter Rd. San José CA, 95112.
- Send your application for Spring/Summer: Season runs March 1 - August 31

Program Updates
Effective November 1, 2025: Citywide Sports will launch a Pickleball/Tennis Shared Court Pilot Program on November 1, 2025. The purpose of this pilot is to evaluate a shared-use model that accommodates growing community demand for both pickleball and tennis while balancing facility use, safety, and neighborhood considerations.Please review the Public Notice and FAQ document for more information.
