Columbus Park Revitalization
About the Project
The City of San José is reimagining Columbus Park. Funded as the final project of the Measure P bond measure, the redesign will feature new artificial turf soccer fields, basketball and/or futsal courts, a playground, a restroom building, and relocated horseshoe pitches. Completion is projected for June 2027. Read more about the Revitalization Project in this document.

Park Naming Survey
As part of the reimagining effort, we are considering renaming the park. In the first round of our survey we asked you whether the City should consider renaming this park. The majority of you (75%) said yes and provided us with potential new names to consider. Staff is reviewing the name suggestions to confirm they comply with the City’s Naming Policy.
