Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) department is creating a Vegetation Management Plan for taking care of plants and trees in Alum Rock Park. Its main goal is to lower the risk of fires in the park by managing the plants safely.

Community Meetings

Join us at upcoming community meetings to review the preliminary Vegetation Management Plan for Alum Rock Park. These meetings will provide an overview of proposed strategies for fuel reduction and wildfire safety, as well as the next steps in the planning process.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their input. Community feedback will be carefully considered as we work toward finalizing the Vegetation Management Plan.
