Camp San José
Camp San José is a summer camp for children ages 5-12 that incorporates educational features in fun and entertaining activities and projects. Campers play fun games, sports, create arts & crafts, and embark on a weekly field trip.
Camp San José is available at multiple locations throughout San José and runs weekly camps from Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

F.I.T. Camp
F.I.T. Camp offers fitness activities, enrichment, fun interactive games, and a healthy cooking club for youth ages 7-12. Campers will build confidence, make new friends, and learn lifelong healthy habits through an evidence-based curriculum.
F.I.T. Camp is available at Berryessa Community Center and Mayfair Community Center. The camp runs weekly, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Teen Centers
City of San José Teen Centers are open during the summer months as drop-in programs. Citywide Teen Center programs are free for youth starting 6th through 12th grade in school year 2026-2027.
Teen Center summer programs provides a safe space for youth to participate in recreational activities, arts & crafts, sports, video games, and more.
Teens Together
Teens Together at Camden Community Center is a summer camp for teens with disabilities. The summer camp provides a safe and structured opportunity to be social, make new friends, and learn some new skills. Participants must be able to function in a 1:4 staff to participant ratio and be independent with their personal care, or provide an attendant.

Teen Leadership Camp
Teen Leadership Camp at Seven Trees Community Center is free for youth ages 11-18. This teen summer camp offers youth skill-building opportunities alongside traditional recreational camp activities. Throughout the week, participants will receive mentorship from staff and practice their newly acquired skills by leading activities.

How do I register my child for summer camp?
Select one or more of the affordable summer camps and classes we offer, then register in person at a participating community center or online at sjregistration.com.
Priority registration for summer camps begins in person at participating community centers on January 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. General registration opens in person and online at sjregistration.com on February 7, 2026, at 10 a.m.
Priority registration for summer classes begins in person at participating community centers on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 10 a.m. General registration opens in person and online at sjregistration.com on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10 a.m.
How much do summer camps cost?
Costs for City of San José summer camps vary by program. For cost information about a specific camp, please contact your local community center or visit sjregistration.com and search for the summer camp by keyword.
Flexible payment plan options are available. Scholarship-eligible families can reserve a spot for $25 per week of camp, and non-scholarship families can reserve a spot for $50 per week per camp. Final payment is due three weeks before the first day of camp.
Are scholarships available for summer camps?
Scholarships are awarded as funding is available. Submit a completed scholarship application to any Community Center. Completion of the scholarship application does not guarantee scholarship approval. Learn more at the Citywide Scholarship Program website.
