With every triennial update to the California building codes, the Building Division produces the Residential Construction Guidelines to highlight key code requirements for common projects on single-family/duplex properties. NOTE: We may correct or update the information outlined in this handbook at any time without notification or republishing of this handbook. Always refer to the adopted building codes for full requirements.
