The City Council will hold public hearings to approve the proposed rezoning. If your property is slated for rezoning, you will first receive a postcard about the rezoning. You and surrounding properties will also receive a postcard about the public hearing date. Due to the large number of parcels being rezoned, these hearings will occur frequently at City Council meetings through 2024 and most of 2025. As stated in the FAQs, this rezoning is perfunctory per state law, and does not affect your home or current business use, and it is not related to a proposed development.
