This page is updated typically every other week, holidays excepted.

These summaries show the major planning applications to the City. Rezonings, preliminary reviews (prelims), site development permits, conditional use permits, lot line adjustments, administrative permits, and other types of major Planning permit projects.

Minor applications, such as a permit adjustment, are not included. Tree removal permit applications are included in the email subscription but not in the summaries posted below. You can view the range of available Planning permits at our Planning Applications & Appointments webpage. Each application form includes an explanation of the permit type and process.

For updated information on a project and its permitting status, go to SJPermits.org and enter the project address or Reference Number, example: H26-018.
