Additional Digester Facilities Upgrades Project

The Additional Digester Facilities Upgrades Project (Project) involves replacing existing digesters at the San José-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (Facility) and improving the overall efficiency and sustainability of the Facility. The Project includes: demolition of several existing structures; construction of six new digesters and associated infrastructure; construction of a new Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) receiving facility and associated infrastructure; and general site improvements such as rock landscaping, paving and grading, signage, street lighting, and exterior and interior lighting.
