This application is for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the demolition of an existing commercial building and surface parking lot, and construction a mixed-use multi-family residential building with 87 affordable housing units and 3,000 square feet of commercial space on an approximately 0.61-gross acre site. Pursuant to SB 35 Streamlined Ministerial Approval Process, this project is exempt from CEQA review. The project will be receiving Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 8 Project Based Vouchers through the Santa Clara County Housing Authority (SCCHA) and is therefore subject to NEPA review.
