SB 35 Ministerial Permit to allow the demolition of an existing concrete pad and new construction of a five-story mixed-use affordable housing project consisting of 160 affordable housing rental units, including two manager's units, and 2,900 square feet of community-serving flex space, and a request for one concession (private open space) and four waivers (development standards) on a 0.97 gross-acre site.

LOCATION

525 N. Capitol Avenue, approximately 200 feet southeast of the intersection of Gimelli Way and N. Capitol Avenue.

This project was reviewed under SB35 which exempts it from CEQA review. The project intends to receive funds from HUD in the form of Section 8 Project-based Vouchers. Thus, NEPA review under HUG guidelines was required.
