259 Meridian Avenue Mixed-Use Project

Project Description

Planned Development Rezoning from the R-2 Two-Family Residence Zoning District and the CO Commercial Office Zoning District to CP(PD) Planned Development Zoning District to allow a new seven story mixed-use building with up to 241 residential units and approximately 1,400 square feet of commercial space on an approximately 1.39-gross acre site.

Planned Development Permit to allow for the removal of trees, demolition of three existing commercial buildings, and the construction of a four to seven-story mixed-use building containing up to 226 residential units and approximately 1,400 square feet ground floor commercial on an approximately 1.39-gross acre site.

The project has been scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting on May 27, 2020 and the City Council meeting on June 23, 2020. Below is the hearing postcard for these two public meetings:

The Planning Commission meeting on May 27, 2020 will occur virtually using a Zoom conference call at 6:30 p.m. This meeting is open to the public and enables public comments. Additional information can be found on the Planning Commission Agenda and Minutes web page. The Planning Commission agenda for the May 27, 2020 meeting will be available on May 20, 2020.

It is currently anticipated that the City Council meeting on June 23, 2020 will occur virtually using a Zoom conference call at 6:00 p.m. Should the meeting format change, this web page will be updated. City Council meetings are open to the public and enables public comments. Additional information can be found on the City Council Council Agenda web page. The City Council agenda for the June 23, 2020 meeting will be available on June 12, 2020.
