City of San Jose
Home MenuTelecommunications Leasing
San José, California is the 10th largest city in the nation and has become a desirable location for installation and operation of telecommunication services. With over 1,000 City-owned properties and thousands of light poles, service providers are able to locate their equipment in nearly every area of the City. The City desires to assist companies in locating City-owned property sites that will help bring better service to the City.
To expedite the lease process, the San José City Council has approved standardized lease agreement terms and rates. There is an agreement for attachment to City buildings or structures, including City light poles, another for the construction of a monopole that may house numerous telecommunication users and another for a multiple of sites under one agreement.
