Current City employees should log in using the employee-only web page portal to CityCareers to view job opportunities open only to City employees in addition to job opportunities open to all applicants.
Please note your eWay and CityJobs user names and passwords do not apply to CityCareers as it is an entirely separate application. Please see the Login Information below for first-time login instructions.
Login Information: Your User Name will be your six-digit Employee Identification Number. Your default password upon first login will be the first four letters of your last name capitalized, and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (Ex: ABCD1234). If your last name has four or fewer letters, use your full last name capitalized, and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (Ex: AB1234). If you receive an error message asking you to contact the System Administrator, please contact your department personnel staff to have them reset and issue a new, temporary password to you. Once you have entered the temporary password in CityCareers, you will then be prompted to create a new password and to create a security question. You may create any question you like. Answer the security question whenever prompted to reset your own password.
If you ever forget the password you created for your CityCareers account, simply click on the ‘Forgot your password?’ link on the Login web page in lieu of making repeated attempts to log in. Accounts that lock due to repeated attempts to login will automatically unlock after 24 hours.
