Make Music San Jose is a free citywide celebration of music-making on June 21.
Make Music San Jose is open to anyone who wants to take part. The spirit of the day is that of a holiday: people getting together in their neighborhoods, creating their own musical events in a do-it-yourself fashion.
Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur, and professional — are encouraged to take part by filling the city with music and share the joy of music making with friends, neighbors, and strangers.
Venues can be anywhere and performers can be anyone.
Make Music San Jose is also a great opportunity to have fun and learn a new instrument at one of the facilitated play-a-longs.
More information on how to participate can be found at Make Music San Jose.
