The Director of Planning, Building and Code Enforcement ("Director") is the initial decision-making body for most Development Permits and various minor and administrative types of permits. The Director serves as the Secretary to both the Planning Commission and Historic Landmarks Commission. Most, but not all, Director decisions can be appealed to the Planning Commission and/or City Council.
