Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Buy and donate new and gently-used furniture, household products, and building materials at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore.
Hazardous Waste Drop-off Facility
Make a free appointment to drop off household hazardous waste like batteries, paint, and fluorescent light bulbs.
The City has suspended household hazardous waste (HHW) operations, including residential and CESQG (small business) drop-off and events, in response to COVID-19.
Prospect Silicon Valley is a nonprofit cleantech innovation hub that aims to solve the biggest urban sustainability challenges.

History and Background
The EIC promotes a healthy environment and regional economy. With the help of the federal New Markets Tax Credit program, San José transformed a marginal property into a showcase of energy- and water-efficient practices. The Environmental Services Department is the building owner and tenant coordinator.
